Under Section 12, an instrument is not considered as valid and applicable just for the reason that it has become post-dated or may be ante-dated as long as, the performance is not being performed illegally or it does have any fraudulent purposes. Any individual to whom any instrument so dated is being delivered receives the title thereto as mentioned in the date of delivery (Morris, 1961). An instrument is not considered as invalid for a particular reason only that, it is being ante-dated or is being post-dated, provided that it is actually not done for an illegal or may it be for fraudulent purpose. Usually any person upon whom an instrument is so dated is being delivered, it simply acquires a title as of the date of delivery.
